Responding to incidents with an AED

This half-day training course in the safe use, care and maintainence of  Automated External Defibrillator’s (AED). This training meets the PUWER Regulations for employers and duty holders when required.

Topics covered

These include how to manage an unresponsive casualty who is breathing normally, how to manage an unresponsive casualty who is not breathing normally, and safe use of an automated external defibrillator and handing over to the emergency services on arrival. The course also covers the storage, care and maintenance of the Defibrillator.

Assessment method

This qualification is assessed by a practical demonstration, oral questioning and a short multi-choice question paper.

Certification 

Students successfully completing this training will be awarded the QNUK Level 3 Award in Responding to Incidents with an AED (RQF).

Pricing & Booking

The cost of this course is £500 fully inclusive, when run at your venue. This is for a group of up to 6.

The cost of this course is £700 fully inclusive, when run at your venue. This is for a group up to 12.

The cost of this course for individuals attending our training centres is £100 per person fully inclusive.
