Responding to Anaphylaxis

A half-day training course responding to anaphylaxis that will allow first aiders to support those suffering from a severe alergic reaction.

Topics covered

The qualification covers first aid skills in CPR and use of an AED and assisting a casualty who is suffering from anaphylaxis including the key knowledge and skills in using a Automated Adrenalin Injectors.

Assessment method

This qualification is assessed by a practical demonstration, oral questioning and completing a multi-choice question paper.

Certification 

Students succesfully completing this training will be awarded a QNUK Level 3 Award Responding to Anaphylactic Reactions (RQF) that is valid for 1-year.

Under the current guidelines it is ”strongly recommended” that first aid trained staff attend a half-day update every 12 months – before completing full re-qualification training at the three year point. Attending this qualification will meet this guidance.

The cost of this course is £300 fully inclusive, when run at your venue. This is for a group of up to 6.

The cost of this course is £400 fully inclusive, when run at your venue. This is for a group up to 12.

The cost of this course for individuals attending our training centres is £35 per person fully inclusive.

The above prices includes certification and manual. There are no additional costs.
