First Aid at Work – Standard Course

A 3-day First aid at work training course meeting the Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.

Topics covered

The training covers knowledge such as the roles and responsibilities of the first aider, how to assess an incident and recognising signs and symptoms of injury and illness in the workplace. The qualification also covers first aid skills in CPR and use of an AED and assisting a casualty who is suffering from major injury and illness such as chest injuries, spinal injuries and anaphylaxis.

Assessment method

This qualification is assessed by practical demonstrations, oral questioning and completing a multi-choice question paper.

Certification 

Students successfully completing this training will be awarded the QNUK L3 Award in First aid at Work (RQF).

Under the current guidelines it is ”strongly recommended” that first aid trained staff attend a half-day update every 12 months – before attending the 2-day re-qualification course at the three year point.

Pricing & Booking

The cost of this course is £900 fully inclusive, when run at your venue. This is for a group of up to 6.

The cost of this course is £1300 fully inclusive, when run at your venue. This is for a group up to 12.

The cost of this course for individuals attending our training centres is £200 per person fully inclusive.

The above prices includes certification and manual. There are no additional costs.
