Topics covered

The emergency first aid for sport qualification course, covers knowledge such as the roles and responsibilities of the first aider in sports, how to assess an incident and recognising signs and symptoms of injury when working as a sports coach. The qualification also covers first aid skills in CPR and use of an AED and assessing and treating a casualty with a head injury and wounds and bleeding.

Assessment method

Students will be assessed by practical demonstration, oral questioning and completing a multi-choice question paper.

Certification 

Successful students will be awarded the QNUK L3 Award Emergency First Aid in Sports (RQF), that is valid for 3-years.

Under the current guidelines it is ”strongly recommended” that first aid trained staff attend a half-day update every 12 months – before completing full re-qualification training at the three year point.

The cost of this course is £400 fully inclusive, when run at your venue. This is for a group of up to 6.

The cost of this course is £600 fully inclusive, when run at your venue. This is for a group up to 12.

The cost of this course for individuals attending our training centres is £120 per person fully inclusive.
