Emergency First Aid at Work | Low Risk

The one-day Emergency First Aid at Work – Standard course fulfils the requirements of the Health & Safety Regulations 1974 in Low Risk areas where an employers needs assessment has identified the need for Emergency First Aiders in the workplace.

Topics covered

The Emergency First Aid at Work – Standard training course, covers knowledge such as the roles and responsibilities of the emergency first aider, how to assess an incident and recognising signs and symptoms of injury and illness. The qualification also covers first aid skills in CPR and use of an AED and assisting a casualty who is suffering from major injury and illness within the workplace.

Assessment method

This qualification is assessed by a practical demonstration alongside oral and written questioning.

Certification 

Students that successfully compete the training will be awarded a ProTrainings Level 3 (VTQ) Emergency First Aid at Work certificate that is valid for 3-years.

Under the current guidelines it is ”strongly recommended” that first aid trained staff attend a half-day update every 12 months – before completing full re-qualification training at the three year point.

The cost of this course is £400 fully inclusive, when run at your venue. This is for a group of up to 6.

The cost of this course is £600 fully inclusive, when run at your venue. This is for a group up to 12.

The cost of this course for individuals attending our training centres is £85 per person fully inclusive.
