Evacuation Chair – Key Trainer

full day certificated “Train the Trainer” course to enable key staff to train other members of your staff in the effective use of the Evac+Chair. This is a 6 hour session in evacuation chair training and will ensure all techniques are explained, demonstrated, imitated and practiced by each delegate to ensure that they will be able to meet the required level for formal certification.

Who should attend

This programme of instruction is for suitable staff trainers already holding a recognised teaching & training qualification within your organisation and who can deliver in-house Evac-Chair training. This is an in depth training course on the use of the equipment and legislation requirements of such and will afford members of your own team to become Cascade Trainers, allowing you to manage the requirements of trained operators within your organisation. Our evac-chair training course offers full professional training and advice and once the delegates have completed this training they will be able to carry out their own training sessions to other members of staff.

Where & When?
Our tutors will come to your care setting utilising the equipment that you will be training your staff on.

Pre-requisites

Students must be aged 18 years plus with level 2 literacy skills at the course start date. Additionally students will be required to demonstrate a range of moving and handling techniques and should therefore be physically capable of doing so and hold a recognised teaching & training qualification such as the Level 3 Award in Education & Training. Students are required to be physically able to perform all practical elements listed above. The aim of this qualification is for those acting in a supporting role such as frontline managers and supervisors who then wish to train your organisations staff in accordance with the above Acts and Regulations.

Students are assessed for this qualification using the following methods:

> Practical observations including teaching practices

> Portfolio of evidence including reflection of own and peer teaching

Demonstration of teaching

Students are required to deliver a number of short training sessions within the programme, followed by an evaluation of that delivery. All teaching materials are supplied for this course and for on-going in-house training delivery post course to successful students. Successful completion this programme would allow for the delivery of in-house Evac-Chair training.

We will deliver this training at your UK mainland venue utilising your own equipment for up to 6 students for just £999.99. This fee is fully inclusive of all training, assessments and certification to those students successfully competing the course. This fee also includes a single trainer pack for your organisation at no extra cost and manual to each delegate.

Suitable trainers may enrol on our open course programme and will be charged at £599.99 per person when attending our training centres in either Cardiff or Manchester.
