SAFEGUARDING QUALIFICATIONS

Abuse and neglect can be found in all ages across our communities, in Adults, Children and Young People. The UK Government has in place a range of legalisation that requires those working within or coming in to contact with these people to have the ability to recognise and report any concerns when working with these groups.

This qualification provides those working with children and young people the knowledge on how to recognise and respond to cases of alleged or suspected abuse.
This qualification provides those working with adults in a health & social care environment. The Care Act 2014 defines adult safeguarding as protecting an adult’s right to live in safety, free from abuse and neglect. Those undertaking this qualification will ensure they and their employers meets the required standards above.
