At Remote First Aid we have continued to grow and develop since our inception in 2005, our product range has grown to reflect our clients needs alongside our training deliveries. Primarily set up to offer clients cost effective and authentic outdoor first aid training. Our range of products now include mini aed training devices, as we know back in 2005 the costs of starting up can be restrictive, so we want to help and assist trainers AND organisations develop. With the HSE requirement to train & assess students coming in to force in 2016 for all workplace first aid training the need for cost effectiveness remains today. So can a first aid trainer find a Generic AED training device for under £40 that works? The simple answer is yes. We took a sample unit back in September 2016 and used the device on a range of first aid courses, the students loved the device, but more importantly left their training confident and capable of deploying a AED in their own environments.
The voice prompts are a little tinny, the unit is tiny, but our students who tested this alongside our other larger £100 AED trainers stated that it gave them the confidence to learn.
