EMERGENCY Paediatric First Aid (EPFA) 6 hours

This course is suitable for some individuals who care for young children in the absence of their parents. This includes Nannies &  Au Pairs, or parents wanting to learn lifesaving skills.

This RQF qualification is regulated by The Office of Qualifications and Examinations in England, the Welsh Government Regulator Qualification in Wales and the Council for the Curriculum, Examinations and Assessment in Northern Ireland.

A full 12-hour course is available for those that require this to meet the requirements of the EYFS,
Ofsted and the settings own Risk Assessment.

If 100% of your staff are paediatric first aid trained you can apply for Millies Mark.

Delivered by paediatric specialists it includes both theory and practical sessions. This one day (6 hour) course is delivered at your venue and can be run at the weekend by arrangement.

 Assessment & certification

To achieve this award learners are required to complete a number of practical examinations and complete a multi-choice paper. Learners must achieve a minimum of 70%  pass mark from the multi-choice paper and 100% in the practical elements.


The cost of this course  for up to 12 candidates is £799.99 if you have a larger group we can send 2 instructors to you for £1199.99 when run at your venue; this allows you up to 24 delegates .These prices include certification and a manual. There are no additional costs.

Individuals joining us at our outdoor first aid training centres in Bristol, Cardiff or Manchester, will be charged at £99.99 per person. These prices include certification and a manual. There are no additional costs.
