These 2 day QNUK first aid courses are ideal for outdoor leaders, Duke of Edinburgh Award participants and leaders, teachers, field scientists, archaeologists, field engineers and outdoor enthusiasts alike taking you through the skills essential for rescue and emergency care in the wilderness. Additionally if you need an outdoor first aid course to revalidate your NGB award (eg MIC, MIA, Mountain Leader, SPA, WGL, BASI Ski instructor, Mountain Bike Leader, Local Cave and Mine Leader, RYA Instructors & Skippers plus many more, then these RQF accredited courses are for you.

Who should attend?

This Regulated Qualification (RQF) is suitable for those aged 16 years plus and who are required to hold a recognised Outdoor First Aid qualification and can be relied upon by employers. This qualification fulfills the requirements of the following organisations for their award holders:

  • British Cycling –

Assessment & certification

To achieve this award learners are required to complete a number of practical tests and sit two multi-choice exam papers. They must achieve a minimum of 70% to pass mark from each multi-choice paper.
