Responding to Anaphylatic Emergencies

Learners attending this training will be able to respond to those at significant risk of having an anaphylactic reaction including children. Making this award ideal for all those having contact with children, such teachers, outdoor instructors, nursery & school staff where a person may suffer with severe allergies and who carry their own Adrenaline Auto-Injectors. Schools may choose to add this to the Emergency First Aid in Schools or Paediatric First Aid courses or choose to use this as demonstration of Annual Refresher Training.

This NEW qualification is regulated by The Office of Qualifications and Examinations in England, the Welsh Government Regulator Qualification in Wales and the Council for the Curriculum, Examinations and Assessment in Northern Ireland.

This training is open to anyone aged 16 years plus with all training being mapped to current UK resuscitation council guidelines. The purpose of this NEW qualification is to support employers and their staff when acting in a supporting role.

Assessment & certification

To achieve this award learners are required to complete a multi-choice question paper and a range of practical tasks. Learners must achieve a minimum of 70%  pass mark from the multi-choice paper and 100% in the practical tasks to achieve this award.

Pricing & booking

The cost of this course for up to 12 delegates is £499.99 when run at your venue. This includes certification and a manual for each student. If two courses are run on the same day the cost for both would be £799.99. There are no additional fees.
