Responding to Incidents with an AED

Employers selecting this training course for their staff where workplace AED’s are located, will be able to demonstrate compliance with the PUWER Regulations 1998 for their duty holders, and other staff such as Managers. This training would benefit an employers entire workforce and not just their workplace first aiders and managers and duty holders. It is proven that the earliest availability of an AED at every first aid incident, increases the chances any victim not breathing normally has of survival if the AED is on-scene and used within the first minute or sooner.

This qualification is regulated by The Office of Qualifications and Examinations in England, the Welsh Government Regulator Qualification in Wales and the Council for the Curriculum, Examinations and Assessment in Northern Ireland.

This training is open to anyone aged 16 years plus with all training being mapped to current UK resuscitation council guidelines. The purpose of this NEW qualification is to support employers and their staff when acting in a supporting role.
