Booking and Payment Arrangements
Terms and Conditions
All initial course enquiries should be made via our web site Contact form.Once we have confirmed availability we will ask you to proceed to the on-line E-Booking form and to complete this in full. You have a number of payment options on the form, but to secure your space we require full payment. Once payment has been received we will then send a further confirmation of payment along with joining instructions. Organisations may request to be invoiced by a signed letter of Authority on headed paper; payment is required within 14 days of invoice date.
Cancellation By The Client
1. All cancellations must be made in writing and will be effective from the date of receipt by Remote First Aid (also known as RFA, or We)
2. In the event of RFA being able to re-sell your space on a course the full course fee will be refunded less an administration charge of 15% of the total course fee.
3. In the event of RFA being unable to re-sell your place on a course the following cancellation fees shall apply:
i) 50% of the total course fee (to cover administration, resources and tutor costs) where cancellation takes place 4 weeks prior to the commencement of the course, or,
ii) 75% of the total course fee where cancellation takes place less than 4 weeks prior to the commencement of the course, or,
iii) 100% of the total course fee where cancellation takes place within the 2 weeks prior to the commencement of the course.
4. All course bookings are transferable provided notice is given no later than 2 weeks prior to the commencement of the course and provided the transferee satisfies the pre-requirements of the course. Transferal will incur and administration charge of 15% of the total course fees as well as any cancellation fees.
Candidate Substitution
Clients may substitute candidates for the course booked at any time prior to the course commencement date.
Cancellation by Remote First Aid
1. RFA will make every attempt to ensure that courses run, however, we reserve the right to cancel a course if there are insufficient numbers. In such a case we will notify the client as soon as possible but not less than 5 days prior to the commencement of the course.
2. In the event of RFA canceling a course the client shall be entitled to one of the following:
i) A full refund of all monies paid to us
ii) A transfer of all monies paid to an alternative course
Training Facilities
Training rooms provided by the client must meet HSE requirements and be large enough to allow for practical training with a separate room form assessment. This will mean a minimum room size of approximately 8 Metre's x 8 Metre's for a group of twelve. In addition training facilities should conform to the minimum standards expected of any organisation with regard to lighting, ventilation, access, toilets,etc. These should be discussed at the time of booking; if the facilities are deemed unsuitable then RFA will endeavour to arrange a local alternative. In all cases the final decision rests with RFA, and any costs incurred will be invoiced to the client.
