Course outline: This course is suitable for Organisations, who after carrying out a suitable risk assessment of their first aid needs have identified the need for First Aiders in the work place. This programme covers 22 modules and includes a formal independent assessment of each candidate and is carried out on the afternoon of the last day,which includes practical skills demonstrations, verbal questioning and a written test. All successful candidates will be awarded a ''approved first aid qualification'' that is valid for 3 years. Candidates will need to attend a 2-Day re-qualification course near the expiry of their certificate which if successful will re-qualify them as First Aiders at Work.

Please note the following information: The Health and Safety Executive now 'strongly recommend' employers that all holders of an ''approved first aid qualification'' undertake some form of annual re-fresher training lasting a minimum of 3 hours. You may view the recommended syllabus here >>>.

Training Venue: We can deliver this course on your premises, reducing your costs in respect of additional time out and travelling for you and your staff. Or you may wish to send your candidates to an open course with us at our training venue near Porthmadog north Wales.
