Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW)
Mountain/Paddlesport/Activity (16hrs) Courses Code: EFAW-2
Course outline: This course is aimed at employers, organiser's and NGB Award holders who hold a duty of care to their staff and public when under taking arduous and/or adventurous activities and covers 14 modules. Assessment is continuous by the course tutor throughout the programme over the 2 days. All successful candidates will be awarded a ''approved first aid qualification'' that is valid for 3 years. Re- attendance to the full programme is then required at the end of this 3 year period. A further recognised certificate will be issued to each successful candidate by Remote First Aid stating that you have completed 16 hours of training and assessment in First Aid again which is valid for 3 years.
This programme meets the required level of training and assessment for all MLTUK Awards and exceeds their CWA requirements. It also exceeds the required level of training and assessment for Sportsleaders UK Award holders. This programme is also suitable for BCU and BCA candidates and award holders and is also suitable for the Duke of Edinburgh Award (DofE). Please note the following information: The Health and Safety Executive now strongly recommend employers that all holders of an ''approved first aid qualification'' undertake some form of annual re-fresher training lasting a minimum of 3 hours. You may view the recommended syllabus here >>>
Training Venue: We can deliver this course on your premises, reducing your costs in respect of additional time out and travelling for you and your staff. - Cost per person attending our training venue as a residential candidate with 2 nights accommodation; £199 including meals
- Cost per person attending our training venue as a non residential candidate: £165 includes buffet style lunch and light beverages
