Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW)

Pre-requisites:
No previous knowledge of first aid is required to enrol on to this one-day course. Candidates must be physically able to carry out the tasks contained within the syllabus to work towards a successful outcome.
Suitable for:
Remote First Aid are pleased to offer the HSE Emergency First Aid at Work qualification. The course will familiarise students with the roles and responsibilities of the Emergency First Aider in the workplace, including assessing an incident, recognising signs and symptoms of injury and illness, and assisting a casualty who is suffering from injury and illness. Students will learn and be assessed on their practical ability to deal with casualties who have stopped breathing, are unconscious, are bleeding and suffering from shock.

Open course costs for candidates selecting to attend this course at our UK training venues is £55 per person and includes manual, tea/coffee and certification that is valid for 3 years.

Group discounts can be requested for 2 or more persons wishing to book on the same course at our partner training venues.

 
 
Assessment is carried out by the course tutor/s and includes practical scenarios.

Certification is valid for 3 years after which candidates must successfully re-take the course again to gain another 3 year certificate. We strongly recommend that candidates keep their skills up to date throughout the 3-year period.
