Basic Skills Update

The Health and Safety Executive have since April 2009, ''Strongly recommend'' that all first aiders attend some form of ''Annual refresher training'' within their 3 year certification period. They recommend that this training should be at least 3 hours in duration and held over half a day. This training is not mandatory and proof of refresher training is not required to attend a FAAW re-qualification course.

The following subjects would be covered :

Module 1 Responsibilities

Module 2 Primary Assessment

Module 3 Secondary Assessment

Module 4 Principles of Resuscitation

Module 5 Wounds, Bleeding & Shock

We can deliver this course on your premises, reducing your costs in respect of additional time out and travelling. Or you may wish to attend an open course with us at our training venues near Porthmadog north Wales.
