Pre-requisites:
This 3 hour course is for anyone who needs training in how and when to use an auto injector in the treatment of anaphylaxis. No previous knowledge of first aid is required to attend this training.
Suitable for:
With 40% of children now suffering from allergies, the ability to understand allergic conditions, and deal with sudden or severe symptoms is fast becoming an essential part of childcare. Workplace first aiders, teachers, and those with a duty of care for suffers and who have to deal with those prone to anaphylaxis should also attend.
Remote First Aid welcomes young people from the age of 12 years and upwards on this course but they must be accompanied by an adult member of the family or guardian. This course is also suitable for family members.

Prevention, recognition and treatment of severe allergic reaction including the use of auto-injectors and CPR.

Course costs & certification:
In-house at your School, College or venue on the UK Mainland for up to 12 candidates. £599.
Open course cost for candidates attending our training venues is £75 per person.
Continuous assessment is carried out by you RCN approved trainers and a Certificate of attendance is issued.
Anaphylaxis first aid is approved by Allergy UK, the leading medical charity for people with Allergy, Food Intolerance & Chemical Sensitivity and in association with the Royal College of Nursing.
We also offer a 60 minute course designed for schools, colleges and early year settings for staff who already hold a valid first aid qualification as additional training.
